GENERAL
SETUP:
1. Women's League -
Wednesdays @ 9:00
a.m.
Men's League -
Wednesdays @ 7:30
p.m.
2. Three divisions in
each league - A, B,
& C
3. Two seasons a year
- Fall and Spring
4. Entry fee is $25
per person
5. Captains play for
free
6. League sublist
entry fee is $10 per
season - entry fee paid
at MP Tennis
7. Teams must have a
home court with at least
two courts available
8. Prizes awarded to
winning teams at end of
season
FORMAT:
1. Teams consist of
six players (three
doubles teams)
2. Each team will
have a captain
3. Each week consists
of three doubles matches
-- captains will
exchange roster before
each match
4. Teams may pair any
combination of roster
players -- there are no
set pairs
5. Each doubles match
counts as 1 point for
the winning team
6. Teams with the
most points at the
season's end will make
the playoffs
7. Captains may use
subs from league sublist
when needed; use of a
sub player not on the
list is a default;
subs may only sub
within their level
8. U.S.T.A. rules
apply to all matches:
best 2 of 3 sets with 12
point tiebreakers
9. Home team will
supply new U.S.T.A.
approved balls for each
match
10. In case of a
rainout, captains will
schedule a make-up
date
11. In case a player
cannot finish the
season, a replacement
player may be added to
the roster. Entry fee
for replacement player
is $10. Once replaced, a
player cannot return to
the team during the same
season
PLAYOFFS:
1. Top teams at
season's end make
playoffs
2. Teams will be
seeded based on final
standings
3. Higher seed will
have home court
